Equipping Iran Khodro Sales Department Counters with Cavac 2011 counter intercom systems
As one of the leading sectors in the Iranian automotive industry, the Marketing and Sales Department of Iran Khodro recognized the importance of equipping its service counters with proper communication systems even before the COVID-19 pandemic.
Introduction to the Cavac 2011 counter intercom systems
The Cavac 2011 was the second generation of counter intercom systems produced by Cavac, introduced to the market in 2013 (1392 SH). This model was designed and launched as an advanced upgrade to the more budget-friendly 9909 model.
Key Features of the 2011 Model
- Modern Matte Black Design: The distinct appearance of the main unit significantly increased this model's appeal among customers.
- Instant Mute Micro-switches: These switches on the microphones allowed for easier management of conversations and privacy.
- Semi-Flexible Microphone Base: Only the lower part of the base featured a spring-loaded design, allowing for convenient adjustment of the microphone's position.
Differences Between the 2011 Model and Other Systems
Unlike newer models, the Cavac 2011 featured a separate installation for the microphone and speaker on the customer’s side:
- Microphone: Installed directly on the glass at an appropriate height.
- Speaker: Placed in a triangular frame at the junction of the glass and the counter edge.
Because of this specific layout, the 2011 model was not suitable for counters that lacked a ledge or "counter lip" on the customer's side.
Production and Supply
Fewer than 500 units of the Cavac 2011 system were imported into Iran. Following the introduction of more versatile models, the import of this specific version was discontinued and replaced by newer systems.
