Obolus Exchange Upgrades with Cavac CT 3066
It was early summer of 2022 (1401 in the Persian calendar) when, at a conference held at the Simorgh Hotel in Tehran, where Cavac was one of the sponsors, I met Mr. Kamran Soltani-Zadeh, the head of the Exchange Association, along with his dedicated and professional colleagues.
If my memory serves me correctly, the conference was held to address issues that had arisen between the Exchange Association and the Central Bank, and several managers from the Central Bank and other commercial banks were present to discuss solutions. As usual, around the sidelines of the conference, several companies displayed their products, from cash counters and banknote testers to digital safe locks and specialized accounting software for exchange offices and partnership companies. Cavac was also present at the conference, thanks to the initiative of Ms. Farzaneh Moghaddam, our then-sales manager, as one of the event’s financial sponsors.
Selecting the Right Counter Intercom System
During the same conference, Mr. Kamran Soltani-Zadeh expressed his interest in equipping the counters of his exchange offices with the best and newest Counter intercom system available on the market. As you know, we recommended the CT 3066 model to him. I recall that their purchase for six counters was made a few days after the conference, but the installation was delayed due to the décor of the second Obolus Exchange branch on Payambar Street in the Golshan Commercial Complex not being ready. Finally, in December 2023 (Dey 1402), the system was installed.
Installation Challenges and Solutions
One of the installation challenges at this location was that the lateral distance between one or two of the counters was less than the standard, which increased the risk of audio interference and noise. Fortunately, by using the volume control feature of the CT 3066 model, we were able to prevent this issue.
